Funeral services will be held on Saturday, June 18th at 9:15am at the Vaschak-Kirila Funeral Home, Inc. and 10:00am at Holy Apostles - Sts. Peter & Paul Croatian Catholic Church for Amy Komara, 45, who passed away on Tuesday, June 14th. Amy was born April 23, 1971 in Pittsburgh, PA , daughter of Patrick Madden and Lauren Murphy. She was a 1989 graduate of N. Allegheny High School and attended Indiana University of Pennsylvania. She worked as a Licensed Beautician and also worked at St. George's Croatian Home in the kitchen. She belonged to Holy Apostles- Sts. Peter & Paul Croatian Catholic Church, was a treasurer of Youngstown Lodge Son's of Italy #858 and St. George's Lodge #66 and Happy Hearts Parents Organization.
Surviving are her Mother; Lauren Murphy of Bellevue, PA, Her husband; Timothy Komara, whom she married September 21, 2002, a son; Nicholas Komara and a daughter; Sophia Komara, all of Poland. Two brothers; Patrick Madden (Terra Mayes) of Bellevue, PA and Sean (Keri) Madden on Beaver, PA. She was preceded in death by her father; Patrick Madden.
Friends will be received on Friday, June 17th from 4 to 7pm at the Vaschak-Kirila Funeral Home, Inc., Youngstown, Ohio.
