Funeral services will be held on Monday, May 1, 2017, at St. Christine’s Church for Margaret A. Pecchio, 90, who passed away on Monday, April 24.
She was born May 25, 1926, in Youngstown, daughter of Joseph Kalmer and Caroline Dora.
She was a graduate of Chaney High School and was a member of St. Christine Church.
She was a homemaker who enjoyed quilting and gardening.
Surviving are two sons, A. Daniel Pecchio of Chagrin Falls and Edward (Kristin) Pecchio of Pinellas Park, Fla.; a daughter, Carol (John) Markovich of Canfield; six grandchildren, Theodore Pecchio, Jessica Reed, Gina Chance, Dominique Pecchio, Dani Pecchio and Alexia Pecchio; and one great-grandson, Maximus Reed.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Daniel E. Pecchio, who she married Jan. 31, 1947; four brothers, Frank, Joe, Johnny and Martin Kalmer; and four sisters, Annie Balog, Mary Evonavitz, Caroline Henerfo, and Julie Skarosi.
Friends will be received Monday, May 1, from noon to 1 p.m. at St. Christine’s Church.
