Albertina "Tina" Fabrizi Obituary
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, May 7th at 11:00 a.m. at St. Christine's Church for Albertina Fabrizi, 86, who passed away peacefully on Saturday, May 4th.
Albertina was born May 22, 1932 in Campbell, Ohio; daughter of Manuel Castro and Mary (Cuva) Castro Fabrizi.
Tina was a graduate of Campbell Memorial High School, where she was the Valedictorian and was a member of the Volleyball team. She was a member of St. Christine Church and was a Girl Scout leader. She worked at Youngstown Public Library and The Dollar Bank of Youngstown, along with being a homemaker.
Surviving are a son, James (Rachel) Fabrizi of Annapolis, MD., three daughters, Loretta Richardson of Ephrata, PA., Lorraine (Brad) Hardman of Boardman, and Attorney Mary Ann Fabrizi (Craig) Donges of Berlin Center., a brother, Frank (Janice) Castro of Poland, a sister Carmel Malmer of Poland, and a sister-in-law Barbara Castro of Canfield. She also leaves two grandchildren, Samantha E. (Nick) Miller of Poland, and John W. Donges of Berlin Center.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John J. Fabrizi Jr, whom she married August 2, 1952, her step-father, John Fabrizi Sr., a brother, Manuel Castro, sister-in-law and brother-in-law Lucille and Frank Stanovcak, and brother-in-law Michael Malmer. She also leaves many beloved cousins, nieces and nephews.
Tina loved her entire family. Her kindness and compassion were virtues evident throughout her life. She was a true Lady who always enriched and brightened the lives of all who knew her. Tina had a way of making each of us feel so special because, in her eyes, we all were. Her Family would like to thank the staff at the Inn @ Glenellen and Dr. Reema Taneja. There are no words to express our gratitude for the love and kindness provided by dear Lois, Barb, and Myra.
Friends will be received Tuesday, May 7th from 10:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. at St. Christine's Church in Youngstown.
