Elizabeth Giovanni, 95, was at home with her family by her side when she departed this life on March 10, 2017.
A daughter of the late Michael and Elizabeth Stas Chichak, she was born in 1921, in Youngstown.
On June 8, 1946, she married August Giovanni. They enjoyed 63 years of life together until his death on Nov. 27, 2011.
Elizabeth was a member of Christ Church Presbyterian since 1952.
Home and family were her greatest joys.
Left to cherish her memory are two daughters, Janice Eynon and Patricia (John) Lichtefeld, both of Boardman; five grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Besides her parents and husband, Elizabeth was preceded in death by four brothers, George Chichak, Joseph Chichak, John Chichak, and Michael Chichak; and two sisters, Ann Gane and Mary Snyder.
In keeping with Elizabeth’s wishes, a private service was held to honor her life.
