A Funeral service will be held on Thursday, November 2nd at 6:30 pm at Vaschak-Kirila Funeral Home in Youngstown, Ohio, for Georgia Anderson, 63, who passed away Friday, October 27th.
She was born April 22, 1954, in Sharpsville, PA, daughter of Robert George Abbott and Ruth M. Cutler.
Georgia was a graduate of Sharpsville High School, Y.S.U. and Geneva College. She worked as a clinical advisor of Radiology at Kent State Salem campus, and an X-Ray Technician for 40 years at St. Joseph's Hospital in Warren. She was a member of Lockwood United Methodist Church. She was a lay leader of Lockwood United Methodist Church and a member of women's Bible Study and Sunday School group and was also an active member of the choir.
Surviving are her mother, Ruth of Sharpsville, PA, a son, Patrick (Josselyn) Anderson of Cornersburg, a brother, William (Kim) Abbott of Sharon, PA and a sister, Linda (George) Drew of Howland.
She was preceded in death by her father and husband, James J. Anderson, whom she married February 19, 1977.
Friends will be received Thursday, November 2nd from 4 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. at the at the Vaschak-Kirila Funeral Home, Inc., Youngstown, Ohio.
A luncheon will follow the service at Lockwood United Methodist Church, 4570 Lockwood Blvd, Youngstown, OH 44511.
