Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, May 30th at 6:30pm at the Vaschak-Kirila Funeral Home, Inc. for James J Anderson, 66, who passed away on Thursday, May 25th.
Jim was born April 17, 1951, in Youngstown, OH, son of Robert W. Anderson and Mary M. McHugh.
Jim was a graduate of Austintown Fitch High School and received his Bachelors Degree in Business Administration from YSU. He worked for Kroger Foods and R.Q.A.C. X-Ray processing. He was a member of St. Christine Church and Lockwood United Methodist Church. Jim enjoyed fine scale modeling, Ohio State Football, and loved his dogs, Peaches and Granddog Brutus.
Surviving are his wife, Georgia Abbott, whom he married February 19, 1977, a son, Patrick (Josselyn) Anderson of Cornersburg, a brother, Robert W. (Marilyn) Anderson of Canfield and a sister, Mary Elizabeth Hoover of Stow, Ohio.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Friends will be received on Tuesday, May 30th from 4 to 6:30pm at the Vaschak-Kirila Funeral Home, Inc., Youngstown, Ohio.
