First and foremost I am sorry for your loss. I went to school with Jim and we laughed a lot. ( class clowns). I moved away many years ago but was always lucky enough to run into Jim when ever I came into town to visit my family and it always took me back in time as we laughed about school days. I too feel a loss of a good friend and class mate. My condolences go out to Jims family and many friends. This is a lonely place without him but Heaven is a happier place. GOD BLESS

My deepest condolences to the Corroto family. Jim was a west side guy through and through. He was part of the gang that hung out at Kirkmere playground when we were kids. He was an awesome person. God bless

We wish to send our deepest condolences and sympathy for the lost of your great brother Jim. We are recent residents on Coleman Dr. I met Jim one day when he helped my mother when she fell while attempting to take a walk around the block. We have been friends ever since . I always looked forward to stopping by and chatting with Jim. He was really AWSOME. It was really a true joy talking to Jim,discussing history of the neighborhood,WWll history,or just normal B.S. I'm going to really miss talking to Jim. MAY GOD BLESS ALL OF YOU,MAY JIM REST IN PEACE.

Jim was the kind of guy you would want for a BROTHER . Jim would give you the shirt off his back wether he knew you or not . Jim was real in all he did . I laughed with Jim and cried with Jim . He took care of his Mother in her last years up until her last hour . When I opened the paper I was and still am in shock . Jim will live on in my heart and the hearts everyone he touched forever. They say the good die young, indeed they do . God Speed Jim , to the Corroto family my deepest condolences.

Jimbo was always there when someone needed him. He was very set in his ways, but had a big heart. I remember watching him wax the Pontiac Trans Am and making sure we used the front door so no one would bump in to it. He was maticulous in everything he did. When I lived in Ohio, Jim and I would stay up late at night and just talk. He didn't watch television that often, but when he did it was always the Oakland Raiders. I would cheer for the Pats and he would always cheer for the other team just to make life interesting. He was not only my brother-in-law, he was my friend. We didn't always agree on things, but no one ever does in life. He was a good man, and was a caretaker for his family and friends. I am going to miss you Jimbo, but I will always remember the good times we had. You are at peace now, so forget about the chores and relax.

For quite a few years, I spent the summers at my cousin Lou Kotel's house on Kirk Rd. every day, the first thing we did was to walk over to the Corroto house to see if Jimmy could come out. Those were magical times for a group of little kids. then in later years no matter what family wedding we went to, we sat with Jim and his mother. wonderful people. May you rest in peace Jim.
