Steve Marenkovic

Private funeral services were  held on  Wednesday, October 10, 2018  at  St. Dominic Catholic Church,  for  Steve  Marenkovic, who went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, October 7, 2018.
Steve was born February 28, 1924  in Youngstown, a son of Steve Marenkovic and Mary Yurak. He was employed by Republic Steel for 41 years and was a member of St. Dominic Catholic Church.
He was a US Navy World War II Veteran. Steve was an avid bowler and golfer and he loved to play the harmonica, especially for the grandkids. He cherished the time he spent with his family and enjoyed attending all the grandchildren's sporting events. Steve will be sadly missed by many, his two sons, Roy Marenkovic of Austintown and Stephan Marenkovic of Youngstown; two daughters, Marsha (Michael) Lattanzio of Boardman and Cynthia (Daniel) Romeo of New Wilmington, PA; two sisters, Mary Buzzacco and Julia Stas; one sister-in-law, Jane Marenkovic; two brothers-in-law Neil Buzzacco and Dominic Buzzacco; nine grandchildren; twelve great grandchildren; and  one great-great grandchild.   
He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Alma L Boyd, whom he married September 28, 1946; three brothers, George, Joseph and Johnny Marenkovic; four sisters, Dorothy Sosnosky, Lucille Patella, Helen Crisci and Anna Mae Buzzacco; one daughter-in-law, Sally Marenkovic, and two grandchildren, Michael Marenkovic and Michael Lattanzio III.
