Vance N. McLellan passed away on Monday, April 3, 2017 at the age of 88. He was born December 5, 1928 in San Diego, California, son of Niel McLellan and Edith (McCarthy) McLellan.
He served in the U.S. Marine Corps as a Sergeant from 1946-1949. He owned South Side Radio and TV until he retired in 2001. Vance was a member of St. Christine church, the NRA, and the Saxon Club. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping and was an avid reader.
He is survived by two sons, Vance (Lynn) McLellan of Austintown, David (Deborah) McLellan of Mineral Ridge, two daughters, Joyce (Steve) Norton of Austintown and Janet (John) Chizmar of Austintown, five grandchildren, Joseph (Stephanie) Chizmar, Adam Chizmar, Kyle McLellan, Tyler McLellan, and Jared McLellan, and three great-grandchildren, Zachary, Noah, and Abigail Chizmar.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 60 years, Jennie Vingi, whom he married January 10, 1948.
