It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved Andrea Lynn Gorgacz on 8/23/2024 after battling multiple health issues. Born on June 5th, 1971 in Youngstown, Ohio Andrea graduated from Austintown Fitch High School in 1989. She enjoyed her early role as a homemaker and later a diverse career in food and beverage.

She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, and friend, Her kindness and love touched everyone who knew her. She had a warm smile and a gentle spirit that radiated love and compassion.

Andrea loved spending time with her family and friends in her final years. She was an excellent cook and enjoyed preparing meals for all. Her latest passion was baking and she was always trying out new recipes with her friends. Her kindness, compassion, and sense of humor will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Andrea is survived by her husband, Michael Sr. her children Alexis (Tyler), Michael Jr. (Brooke) and Benjamin, her grandson Weston, parents David and Sandra Pickens Sr., her brother David Pickens Jr. (Beth), and their children Olivia, Julia, and Samuel. Andrea was proceeded in death by her partner James Calpin.

Visitation will be held on Friday September 6th from 4:00 to 5:30 pm with a private memorial to follow at Vaschak-Kirila Funeral Home in Cornersburg.

Andrea will be deeply missed and forever remembered. Rest in peace, you will be sadly missed.
