YOUNGSTOWN ANTHONY PALUMBO Anthony R. Palumbo, 69, died Sunday, August 16,2009 at his home under the care of hospice. He was born on November 13, 1939, the son of the late John and Jane (Del Sardo) Palumbo. He graduated from Clairton High School in 1957 and upon graduation attended Pittsbugh University and also attended Point Park Colloege and graduated with a degree in accounting. Mr. Palumbo was employed by Michael's in Boardman as the Frame Shop Manager and was a Master Framer. He was also a Certified One Stroke Teacher. He taught both one stroke and oil painting. He loved to teach and share his talent. He was a long time member of St. Christine Church where he served as an Usher at the 9:00 a.m. Mass for many years. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus in which he was a 4th degree knight. Anthony is survived by his wife, Debora (George) Palumbo of Boardman whom he was married for 25 years, two sons, Jon and Joseph, and a daughter, Nicole - all three of Boardman and two sisters, Rose Marie Absalom of Pittsburgh,PA and Laverne Hoover of Buffalo,NY. He is preceded in death by his parents, a sister, Ann (Palumbo) Orsini, and a brother, Joseph Palumbo. He was friends to all.
