David M. "Gravy" Dorbish

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, February 2, 2019, at 12:00 pm at Vaschak-Kirila Funeral Home in Youngstown for David M. "Gravy" Dorbish, who passed away on January 26, 2019. Pastor Patti Elliott will be officiating. David was born in Youngstown, a son of Edward and Debra (Ostavitz)  Dorbish. He was a 1994 graduate of Chaney High School and worked at General Motors-Lordstown on the assembly line and was a union carpenter. He enjoyed fishing and playing football and baseball. Surviving are his parents; two sons,  David and Nicholas Dorbish, both of Youngstown; a daughter, Alexis Dorbish of Youngstown; grandparents, Edward G and Dorothy C. Dorbish of Austintown; two brothers, Edward (Jennifer) Dorbish and  Andrew Dorbish (fiance Athena Roberts) of Youngstown;  his girlfriend, Marie Hill and her children, Tiana and Donovan; and also aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, a great-nephew and friends from the West Side, by whom he will be sadly missed. Friends will be received on Saturday from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm at the funeral home.
