George E. Fischer, Jr.
1939-2025
George E. Fischer, Jr. passed away on March 7th, 2025.
He was born on December 23, 1939 to George and Mary Fischer in Homestead, PA,
He served in the US Navy on the U.S.S. Hancock from 1956 until 1960. Upon leaving the Navy he was employed as a letter carrier for 33 years by the U.S. Postal Service.
He leaves his wife, Evelyn Janet Fischer, his son Steve, 5 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren. He also leaves 2 step-children Dean and Renee Shelton.
George was proceeded in death by his father, mother and brother Bob Fischer.
Private services were held
