BOARDMAN
Georgeann Pribek Colantone
November 21, 1960 – August 28, 2025
Georgeann Pribek Colantone, age 64, passed away peacefully on August 28, 2025, after a five-year illness with Progressive Supranuclear Palsy (PSP).
Born on November 21, 1960, Georgeann lived most of her life in Boardman, Ohio, where her free spirit, warmth, and sense of humor touched everyone she met. She was a hippie at heart, embracing peace, love, and kindness in all that she did.
Known affectionately as “Gigi,” Georgeann was deeply devoted to her family. She was the proud mother of Anthony Colantone and his partner Seth Nickerson, and Carla Joy Colantone and her partner Kevin Krpicak. One of her greatest joys was seeing her daughter Carla's dream of motherhood come true with the arrival of her first grandson, Kevin Donald Krpicak Jr., born on June 6, 2025 — a moment that filled her heart with immense pride and peace.
She is also survived by her loving mother, Barbara Plesic D'Angelo; her sisters Debbie Bair and husband David Bair, and Michelle Andrade and husband Joe Andrade; as well as her seven nieces and two nephews, all of whom will forever carry her memory in their hearts.
Georgeann faced her journey with PSP with remarkable courage and grace. She met each day with love, laughter, and resilience, inspiring everyone who knew her.
Invitations for Georgeann's Celebration of Life, to be held on November 2, 2025, have been shared with family and friends by word of mouth.
In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to the CurePSP Foundation (www.psp.org) to support research and families affected by PSP.
Her love, laughter, and light will shine forever in the hearts of those who loved her.
“Forever our free spirit — may her soul dance in peace, love, and endless light.” ✌️
