Jerald J Bornemiss

Private Funeral services will be held on Monday, December 7, 2020 at Western Reserve United Methodist Church, 4580 Canfield Rd, with Pastor Russ Adams, at 11:00am for Jerald J Bornemiss, 77, who passed away on December 3rd.
He was born October 31, 1943 in Youngstown, OH, son of Joseph Bornemiss and Margaret Barth Bornemiss.
Jerald was a graduate of Girard High School and attended YSU. He worked as a welder for General Motors in Lordstown fabrication plant. He served in the U.S. Navy in the Vietnam war. He enjoyed golfing, day trips with his wife, watching Ohio State football, the Browns, Cavs, and Indians, and spending as much time as he could with his grandchildren.
Surviving are his wife, Sharon (Williams) Bornemiss, whom he married September 20, 1969, two sons, Brian (Christine) Bornemiss of Boardman, Jeff (Sarah) Bornemiss of Columbus, a brother Buddy (Bunnie) Bornemiss of Girard, a sister, Cathy (Mike) McAndrew of Georgia, two grandchildren Nadia and Chase, both of Columbus, and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Friends will be received on Monday, December 7th from 10:00am to 11:00am at Western Reserve United Methodist Church on Canfield Road.
