Mary Keightly

CANFIELD

Mary D. Keightly passed away peacefully on Monday, January 6, 2024.

She was born on May 13, 1931 in Duquesne, PA to Andrew A. and Maria Beres.  Mary was a member of The Holy Name of Jesus when the family moved to Youngstown.  She attended St. Michael Parish in Canfield.

Mary enjoyed traveling over the years and had visited 27 countries with her husband James Sloan Keightly who she married on October 14, 1967 in New Hope, PA.

She leaves behind her niece Jan Vidis of Cypress, TX, two additional nieces, Linda and Marina Julian and a nephew Scott Julian.

Mary was preceded in death by her parents, three sisters, Anne Marie Vidis, Helen D’Angelo and Margaret Julian, a nephew Sammy D’Angelo and by her loving husband James of 24 years.

There will be no calling hours or services.

Vaschak-Kirila Funeral Home handled all of the arrangements for the family.
