1932-2025

Pauline Hulea passed away on May 23, 2025 at Briarfield Manor in Austintown.

She was born October 26, 1932 in Youngstown, Ohio, a daughter of George and Pauline Biris.

She was a lifelong resident of Youngstown and Poland and a proud graduate of South High School.

Pauline married Nick Hulea in 1950 and celebrated 62 years of marriage before he passed away in 2012.

She was a homemaker for many years taking care of her three children.  She also worked at Poland schools as a secretary until her retirement.  She leaves to cherish her memory Nick (Nancy) Hulea and Paul (Raedine) Hulea.

She will be sadly missed by her 8 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren.

Pauline was proceeded in death by her parents, her one sister Mary, daughter Diane and her husband Nick.

Calling hours will be on Wednesday, June 4th from 5-7pm with a service at 6:30pm at Vaschak-Kirila Funeral Home in Youngstown, Ohio.  Burial will take place at a later date at Lake Park Cemetery.

The family would like to thank the staff of Briarfield Manor of Austintown for the love and care they gave Pauline during her time there.

Vaschak-Kirila handled all of the arrangements for the family.
