Rita M. Sabella

1928-2025

Rita Sabella of Youngstown passed away on February 12th, 2025. Rita was born on May 2nd, 1928, to Joseph and Beldina Sabella. She was a graduate of East High school and worked at General Electric for 35 years and retired in 1995.

Rita enjoyed spending her free time playing bingo, taking trips to area casinos and also listening to the Cleveland Indians and Tom Hamilton on the radio whenever she could.  

Rita is survived by her loving sisters Annebelle Capritta of Wilmington Delaware and Gloria Drapcho of Youngstown. Also, many nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.

She was proceeded in death by her brothers Joseph and Dominic and sisters Angeline and Mary. A private mass will be held by the family at St Christine Church where she was a parishioner.

The family would like to thank the entire staff at Addison of Cornersburg Assisted Living for the exceptional care that they gave her the last 6 years.
