Robert Dean Morris Sr. “Sonny”, of Boardman, Ohio, was born on August 28, 1935, in West Virginia, and passed away peacefully on September 7, 2025, at the age of 90.

He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Joanne (Devorich) Morris of Boardman, Ohio. His parents; James and Elizabeth (Williams) Morris. And his sister Gurt Flinn.

He is survived by his three children, Robert Morris Jr. of Boardman, Debbie Morris of Boardman, Joseph (Kristan) Morris of Boardman; his grandchildren Nicole Morris of Boardman, Joseph Morris of Boardman, and Sahvanna Morris of Boardman. And his beloved cat, Smokey.

His life and legacy live on through his family, who will always cherish the love and memories he gave them.

Robert lived life to the fullest and found joy in the outdoors and in the company of his loved ones. He loved hunting, cheering at NASCAR races, country music, and taking family vacations that created lasting memories. Above all, he treasured the time spent with his family, who will forever remember his warmth, humor, and devotion.

A devoted husband, father, grandfather, and friend, Robert will be remembered for his strength, kindness, and the special place he held in the hearts of those who knew him.

Friends and family may call Friday, September 12th from 11 AM to 12 PM at Vaschak-Kirila Funeral Home.
