A memorial service will be held Tuesday, April 19, at 10 a.m.
at Our Lady of Sorrows - St. Matthias Church for Genevieve A. Repasky, 84,
who passed away Friday, April 15.
She was born Sept. 13, 1931, in Campbell, daughter of John Zametz and
Josephine Putanko.
She was a graduate of Wilson High School and belonged to Our Lady of Sorrows
- St. Matthias Church. Genevieve worked as a medical secretary with Dr.
Stephen Ondash.
Surviving her are two sons, Bernard Repasky of Lyndhurst, and John Repasky
of Canton; and a daughter, Mary Jo (Kevin) Skea of Youngstown; a sister,
Mary Ann (Donald) Edgerton of Poland; two granddaughters, Megan (Michael)
McGlynn and Kelly Nemergut (Mark); and two great-grandchildren, Sydney and
Cole McGlynn.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Bernard J. Repasky,
whom she married Nov. 28, 1953; two brothers, John and Leonard Zametz; and a
daughter-in-law, Cindy Repasky.
