Funeral services will be held on Monday, Oct. 3, 2016, at 11
a.m., at the Holy Trinity Romanian Orthodox Church for Patricia R. (Pavlov)
Curea who passed away on Friday, Sept. 30, 2016.
She was born March 17, 1933, in Struthers, daughter of the late Stephen and
Mary (Pavlov) Ekoniak.
She was a 1950 graduate of Struthers High School. Patricia was employed with
B. Dalton Bookseller Company for 17 years from 1975 to 1992. She was a
member of the Holy Trinity Romanian Orthodox Church since 1956, where she
was very involved in many aspects of the church.
She leaves to cherish her memory, her husband of 60 years, John; a daughter,
Shirley (Mark) Collins of Coral Springs, Fla.; son John (Cathy) Curea of
Enon Valley, Pa.; four grandchildren, Christa Collins, Sarah Collins, Jason
Curea, and Candace Curea; one great-grandson; her sister, MaryLou Jaric of
Poland; brother Stephen (Andrea) Ekoniak of Poland; and four nieces and
nephews.
Friends may call on Sunday, Oct. 2, 2016, from 3 to 5 p.m. at the Holy
Trinity Romanian Orthodox Church, 626 Wick Ave. in Youngstown.
Burial will take place at Belmont Park Cemetery.
Contributions can be made to the Holy Trinity Romanian Orthodox Church.
