Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, Nov. 24, at 9:30 a.m. at the Vaschak-Kirila Funeral Home Inc., and at 10 a.m. at St. Christine Church for Roseanna Beligni, 93, who passed away on Wednesday, Nov. 18.
Roseanna was born Feb. 7, 1922, in Lucerne, Pa., daughter of George Lonchar and Julia Martinovich.
Roseanna attended a one-room school house until eighth grade and went on to earn her GED, that she was very proud of. She was a member of St. Christine Church and was one of its founding members. She volunteered at the church’s festival and loved dancing, enjoyed cooking, needlework, crochet and doing puzzles. She worked at G.E. in the assembly line and was a homemaker.
Surviving are a son, James Beligni of Austintown; a daughter, Linda (Michael) of southern California; and four grandchildren, Jessie DeVito of Youngstown, Sandy (Ross) Cline of Austintown, and Stephanie and Sarah, both of California. She also leaves two great-grandchildren, Parker and Wyatt.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Conrad M. Beligni, whom she married Aug. 25, 1951; a son, Ronald; and a brother, George Lonchar.
Friends will be received Tuesday, Nov. 24, from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m., at the Vaschak-Kirila Funeral Home Inc., Youngstown.
