Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, March 31st at 11:00am at the Vaschak-Kirila Funeral Home for Dorothy Syphard, who passed away on Friday.

She was born December 2, 1929 in Youngstown, OH, daughter of Alfred Booth and Myrtle Rooney.

Dorothy worked as a cashier at T.J. Maxx.  She enjoyed bowling and was an avid Bingo player.

Surviving are two daughters; Linda (William) Johnson of Mineral Ridge, and Renee (Terry) Stocker of Struthers, a brother; James Booth and a sister; Audrey Morrow. She leaves Six grandchildren; Lisa Wasacz, Jodi Gank, Josh Hunkele, Meghan Hunkele, Tracy Shanner and Jason Syphard and Nine great-grandchildren.

she was preceded in death by her parents, her husband; Richard E. Syphard whom she married November 19, 1945, a son; Richard Lee, one daughter; Diane Syphard, and a brother Edward.

Friends will be received Tuesday, March 31st from 10:00am to 11:00am at the Vaschak-Kirila Funeral Home, Inc., Youngstown, Ohio.
