AUSTINTOWN - Nella Hradil Funeral services will be held Friday, July 23, 2010 at 9:30 a.m. at the Vaschak-Kirila Funeral Home 3100 Canfield Rd. and at 10 a.m. at St. Stanislaus Church, 430 Williamson Ave., both in Youngstown, for Nella Hradil, 87, who passed away Tuesday evening, July 20, 2010, at Briarfield Ashley Circle. She was born March 12, 1923, in Poland, Europe, a daughter of the late Valentine and Maria Chlebec. Nella and her husband, Joseph Frank Hradil, immigrated to the USA, May 15, 1950. They first lived in Culpepper, Va. and later moved to Youngstown. She was a member of St. Stanislaus Church and a homemaker. She is survived by her son, Dr. William J. (Angela) Hradil of Youngstown; a daughter-in-law, Judi Hradil of Canfield; three grandchildren, Mark(Leigh Ann) Hradil of Copley, OH. Lisa (Mark) Kovacs of Austintown and Jason (Veronica) Hradil of Brooklyn, NY.; and five great-grandchildren, Kayleigh and Lauren Hradil and Chase, Alyssa and Kelsey Kovacs. Besides her parents, Nella was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Frank Hradil, whom she married Nov. 1, 1945 and who died April 18, 1965; and her son, Cajetan Hradil. Friends may call from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Calvary Cemetery.
